Our players from Vardar Junior were close to securing placement in the final of the Macedonian Cup, but they were eliminated in the penalty shootout. Our rival in the semi-final was Metalurg, and after the regular 60 minutes, the result was 20:20. In the penalty shootout, the team from Avtokomanda celebrated with 26:25.
Anastasija Nikolovska scored the goal for a tie in the last minute of the match. In the penalty shootout, both teams used all 5 penalties, but Nikolovska missed, and Metalurg secured placement in the final.
We played with 12 players, gave our best and had a lead on halftime of 8:7. However, the guest reached a lead of 15:11, which was nor discouraging for us and we drew 16:16. The game was even until the end.
Metalurg and the winner of the match Vardar – Pelister will play the final tomorrow at 13:00 in SC Jane Sandanski.
